Zelensky: Russia exports terror. The world needs to move faster

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky

— Russia exports terror. The world cannot hesitate, it must act faster than it, said Volodymyr Zelensky in a speech at the Davos Economic Forum. The President of Ukraine again appealed for the supply of arms. “Nothing has changed, we still need ammunition,” he said.

The President of Ukraine began his remote speech with a helicopter crash that occurred on Wednesday morning in the town of Brovary in the Kyiv region. 14 people were killed, including the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Denys Monastyrski.

"Our thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones," he said. He then asked for a minute's silence to honor all those who lost their lives fighting the Russian aggressor.

After the war, the Ukrainian president stated that “Russia is exporting terror.” — The world hesitated when Russia occupied Crimea. Tragedies precede life. As the free world wonders, terrorists use this time to kill, he said.

Zelensky: Tyranny wins over democracy

Zelensky again appealed for the supply of weapons to Ukraine so that it could stay ahead of Russia's actions. “Nothing has changed, we still need ammunition,” he added.
— There is a need for decisive, joint action, which must be swift. Tyranny wins over democracy. Russia took one second, and the world took days to react with sanctions. Ukraine and its allies have been resisting Russia for almost a year. This shows that joint actions bring results, said the President of Ukraine.
Zelensky stressed that “the war has slowed down” in the winter, people are tired of it, but they continue to fight “in their daily battles.”

Referring again to the helicopter crash, he said that due to the experience he had gained since the beginning of Russian aggression, he believed that “there are no accidents in war” and that every death in times of war is its result. He added that he had no fear for his own safety after the tragedy.

Zelensky reminded that three years ago he took part in the summit in Davos for the first time. Now on this forum it is said that “the world is fighting Putin”. Three years from now, Davos will be talking about something else, and that “means we will win this war. The world will win again. That's all we can say in a few minutes,” he added at the end of his speech.
