"We continue to destroy the enemy! More to come"
announced the General Staff in Kyiv in a post on the Telegram platform.
Ukraine's army managed to carry out a successful attack on Russian missile systems. The strike occurred in the territory occupied by Russian forces in Crimea. The General Staff in Kyiv announced that none of the missiles used by Ukraine were detected by the opponent's systems.
"Last night, Ukraine's Defense Forces successfully conducted attacks on one S-400 missile system in the Dzhankoi area and two enemy S-300 missile systems in the vicinity of Chornomorske and Eupatoria," wrote the General Staff in Kyiv in a statement on the Telegram platform.
The authorities also reported that none of the missiles fired by the Ukrainian side were intercepted by Russia's air defense. The opponent's air defense was ironically described as "highly effective".
Immediately after the successful strike on Russian systems in the Dzhankoi area and the vicinity of Chornomorske and Eupatoria, the functioning of Russian S-300 and S-400 radar systems was instantly disrupted. "Additionally, further ammunition detonations were recorded in all three areas of the launch positions of the Russian Federation's anti-aircraft missile divisions," the statement said.
The Chief of the General Staff of Ukraine summarized that thanks to the successful actions of the Armed Forces, the air defense of the Russian invaders in Ukrainian Crimea suffered significant losses. "We continue to destroy the enemy! More to come," was announced in the statement.
