On Saturday, January 14, residents of Dnipro heard an explosion. It happened at approximately 3:39 p.m. At that time, the air alert in the region lasted for more than an hour and a half, as the Russians launched a massive missile attack on Ukrainian cities. Air defense forces shot down 6 out of 8 missiles over the Dnipropetrovsk region. Unfortunately, in Dnipro, an Kh-22 missile hit a high-rise building in Peremozh. One of the entrances to the building was completely "destroyed" by the explosion.

44 people died as a result of the explosion. They were taken out from under the rubble. The search operation lasted 69 hours.
