An Italian allied missile destroyer has arrived in Poland - the head of the Ministry of National Defense, Mariusz Blaszczak, informed on social media. He emphasized that equipment with such strong anti-aircraft armament will strengthen the defense of the Polish coast and the protection of Polands critical infrastructure.

Let us remind you that on Friday a warhead from a Russian missile was found, which fell in a forest near Bydgoszcz in December 2022, the head of the presidents office, Pawel Szrot, announced that day.

- As for the warhead - it has been found and is being examined by the relevant institutions. It is special because it is made of concrete. Pawel Szrot informed that it did not contain an explosive. Last Saturday, the Government Security Center sent out an alert regarding another mysterious object that flew from Belarus and entered Polish airspace. The balloon was first seen on radars, but later, probably due to lowering its altitude, it disappeared.

The missile destroyer has reached Poland

Now the head of the Ministry of National Defense has announced that the missile destroyer ITSCaioDuilio with powerful anti-aircraft weapons has arrived in Poland. Mariusz Blaszczak sent the message on Twitter with a photo of the equipment.

- I am very happy with the decision of the Italians, which is that an Italian missile destroyer with powerful anti-aircraft and anti-missile armament will soon arrive in Poland, which will strengthen the anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense of the Polish coast. In just a few days, he will be in Poland, the minister said on Wednesday during his visit to Rome.
