The death of a 2-year-old child and 22 injured in Pidgorodny: details from the prosecutor's office

On June 3, Russian troops attacked the Podgorodno community. As a result of the attack, a residential building was damaged. As of 7:31, it was known that 22 people were injured. 5 of them are children. This is reported in the publication of Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

According to the prosecutor's office, on the evening of June 3, 2023, the occupiers attacked the Pidhorodno community of the Dnipro district. An enemy rocket hit between two story residential buildings.

As of now, it is known about the dead 2-year-old child. 22 people were injured, including five children aged 6 to 17.

More than 10 private houses, a rescue unit, citizens' cars, shops and a gas pipeline were damaged. Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, record the consequences of the shelling.

Under the procedural leadership of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is underway in criminal proceedings for violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional homicide (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Earlier, the media of Nikopol reported that the enemy was raiding the houses of the residents of Nikopol at night: the police showed a photo. Air defense forces over Dnipropetrovsk region destroyed two cruise missiles and a drone. In Nikopol, as a result of shelling, two cars burned and houses were damaged.
