The buildings of Energodar educational institutions and utility enterprises captured by the occupiers are increasingly being used by them to accommodate personnel and store weapons. KP employees are induced to cooperate, often resorting to torture and coercion.

Weapons are also placed in the basements of apartment buildings where civilians live. This was announced by the mayor of Energodar, Dmytro Orlov, the Informant reports with reference to the "Media Center of Energodar".

The occupiers are checking all educational institutions and communal enterprises in order to place their personnel and ammunition in these premises. Energodar kindergartens and schools were not an exception, as well as communal enterprises and institutions where they registered their KPs in accordance with Russian legislation, but are similar in name to our enterprises. The occupiers are trying to persuade those workers who still remain in Energodar to cooperate. The same is happening at the city-forming enterprise Zaporizhzhia NPP, - the mayor said.

In general, according to Orlov, the situation in Energodar is quite difficult. There are a lot of roaches both in the city and on the territory of the industrial site. They are looking for safer places for themselves, taking cover of the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, the Energodar residential complex and the local population.

The occupiers hide themselves and place weapons in the basements of residential buildings of multi-storey buildings in the city. Private premises in the surrounding villages and cottage cooperatives are not left out. Everywhere they rob, break down doors, if there are no residents, they carry out everything that can be carried out and live there, housing their staff, - the mayor noted.

According to him, the energy donors who remained in the city (they are mostly socially vulnerable categories) are currently facing a number of problems, in particular regarding the lack of necessary medicines.

Since September, the occupiers have blocked the delivery of humanitarian goods, baby food, hygiene products, products and medicines. And now energy donors have no opportunity to evacuate the city, because the occupiers have closed the checkpoint in Vasylivka, - the mayor added.
